Welcome to our family-run hotel! For over 80 years, we have been welcoming our guests with personal service and genuine hospitality. As a traditional family business, we attach great importance to regionality, cleanliness and individual care – while always keeping up with the latest trends.

Culture & cuisine

Would you like to discover the sights of one of Germany's most traditional cities? Or are you visiting us for one of the numerous trade fairs and events? Our location also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: from delicious currywurst with Belgian fries to Franconian pub classics, cosy cafés, cocktail bars and first-class international restaurants, there is something for every taste – including your favourite Asian and Italian restaurants ;)

Right in the old town / pedestrian area

Located in the Lorenzer district and within the old town walls, you are only 10-15 minutes away from the main market square and about 25-30 minutes' walk from the Imperial Castle.

Central location with easy access to public transport

Nuremberg Central Station can be reached directly via an underpass or the Handwerkerhof in approx. 5-10 minutes. The next underground station (U1 | Lorenzkirche) is already in the next street.

Company

Our house - a place with history.

Whether inflation, destruction or reconstruction: It never got boring in the house Probst. Originally built as a four-storey sandstone building in 1899, this building housed, inter alia, a butcher's shop and a dance café with live music. In the meantime, the house has been extended by one floor and currently has three external co-parties.

Our street - tradition meets modernity.

The historic old town of Nuremberg is divided into two parts: We are located in the southern district of St. Lawrence. The Luitpoldstraße is the link between the great Königsstraße and the manageable Vorderer Sterngasse. It was given its name in honor of the Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria in 1897. At the latest in the 1920s, this small mile established itself as a scene meeting place for bars, cafes and coffee houses.
